　　The aim of establishing Digital Imaging Technology SIG, MCN Taiwan is to explore image digitization technology, including knowledge about equipments and methods of image producing, processing and printing . The purpose is to obtain better image quality to meet users’ needs of image use.
　　Targeting at cultural heritage communities, including museums, libraries, and archives, the SIG invites digital imaging professionals of related fields to talk about technology, equipment, or news of digitization in the group meetings constantly. The purpose is to help group members gain knowledge about digital imaging technology, and share idea about technology and practice with each other.
　　Since many institution in Taiwan preserve three dimensional objects, this group is going to organize workshops on 3D object photography and 3D modeling from time to time. Through workshops, we'll unveil the secrets of 3D object digitization to provide institutions with 3D objects collections abundant and diverse 3D images for purposes such as digital archive, collection research, online exhibition, education, promotion, velue-added application.
　　The topic of this workshop is "Rapid 3D Object Photography Workshop". Participants will not only enrich their knowledge and practice of 3D object photography, but also watch the operation of 3D object photography system and operate the equipments in person..
