The MCN Taiwan Chapter standards SIG is going to hold a symposium “Develop the User-oriented Metadata design: Strategy and Practice.” at the Academia Sinica in the afternoon of August 27th, 2008 (Wed.). This symposium will have two lectures on theory introduction and practical examples sharing to clarify for members the tips of user-oriented Metadata design and to introduce and share examples conformed with registration guidelines standard (the demonstration examples are which registered by each organization of MuseFusion Platform). Meanwhile, the open discussion will start in last 20 minutes of the two lectures; including inviting members to share problems in practical experiences and to enhance the professional knowledge of User-oriented Metadata design and registration guidelines by obtaining expert consultation and discussions with colleagues.
The attendance of group members and the workers and researchers in the fields related to the wider community of cultural heritage (such as museums, libraries, and archives) is welcomed! (For more information, please visit:Standards SIG Page)
